Irina Serotyuk belong to the young accordionist generation and is already well known as very successful Ukrainian musician in Europe.

Her wide repertoire ranges from French to Swedish works and from classical to contemporary music. As well as solo performance Irina is an active collaborator with various multi-instrumental ensembles, chamber duo and symphony orchestras.

Irina Serotyuk was born into a family of well-known accordion teachers in the village in the West of Ukraine. It was naturally that Irina’s father became her first teacher and taught her during the first 8th years in music school. At the age of 10 she participated at the International competition "Cup of Kryvbas" in Ukraine where she became a first prize-winner. This experience was the beginning of her intensive musical life with annual successes at international competitions, concerts and festivals. Irina was the first Ukrainian child to win the under 12 category at the Competition of Accordionists in Castelfidardo (Italy, 1999). She was invited to different accordion festivals in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Poland , Bosnia Herzogovina, Sweden.

Irina is a prize-winner of more than 30 International competitions, including the Competition of Accordionists in Castelfidardo (Italy 2008, 2nd prize), Acco Holiday (Kiev 2010, 2nd prize), Competition of Accordionists in Klingenthal (Germany, 2001, 1st prize). Accordion competition in Moscow "Voices of spring" ( 2008, 1st prize). He has also been awarded a scholarship from Polish Minister of Culture and got half -years education at the Chopin University of Music in Warszawa, where she had Klaudiusz Baran as a professor.

Irina Serotyuk builds a multi-faceted artistic life. She regularly appears on a stage to perform solo parts with the chamber and symphony orchestras in Ukraine and Sweden, as well as in several chamber duo, one of them is with outstandig young Swedish klarinet player - Magnus Holmander . "Magnus & Irina duo" won the Swedish chamber music competiton "Ung & Lovande" and got a two month tour the 2018-19 season around the whole Sweden as a price.

Irina has performed at Musikaliska Nybrokajen Concert Hall (Stockholm), Västerås konserthus, Göteborgs konserthus and at the many Music Academies, Philharmonic halls in Ukraine, Poland and Russian.

After two years studying with Dmitri Iljin at the Kryvyi Rih Regional College of Art, Irina became a student of professor Volodymyr Murza at the National Music Academy in Odessa where she graduated in 2012. In 2014 she transferred to Sweden to live there and study under Anita Agnas at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
